We are now seeking a self- motivated and enthusiastic Technical Instructor to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive, values-driven environment and make a real difference in the community.
About the Role
This part-time role (10 hours per week) involves delivering high-quality, patient-centred physiotherapy under the supervision of registered physiotherapists.
This role involves-
- Following exercise and rehabilitation programmes set by physiotherapists.
- Assisting in treatment sessions and exercise classes.
- Supporting patients in their rehabilitation journeys.
- Helping to ensure excellent client care and satisfaction in line with the values of Rebalance Physiotherapy.
You will work with adults with a wide range of needs, including neurological, musculoskeletal, and age-related conditions. You will work independently in patients’ homes and care homes, using your clinical expertise to implement physiotherapist led treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exercise programmes prescribed by a physiotherapist
- Supporting individuals with neurological and long-term conditions
- Provide rehabilitation focused on mobility, balance, and functional independence
- Work collaboratively with patients, carers, care home staff, and community services
- Support falls prevention programmes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with professional standards
Support and deliver group-based exercise sessions such as balance classes, falls prevention programmes, and seated exercise sessions under the guidance of supervising physiotherapists.
About You
- Level 2 Exercise Instructor or Level 3 Personal Training qualification or equivalent
- Experience working with older adults, frailty, or vulnerable populations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and engage individuals and groups in a supportive, inclusive, and person-centred way
- Willingness to undertake role-specific and neuro-related training, as required by the service
- Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Associate Membership with the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy or willingness to obtain this
- Valid Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
- IT literate

This part-time role (15-20 hours per week) involves delivering high-quality, patient-centred physiotherapy to adults with a wide range of needs, including neurological, musculoskeletal, and age-related conditions. You will work independently in patients’ homes and care homes, using your clinical expertise to develop and implement effective, tailored treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct physiotherapy assessments and develop personalised treatment plans
- Provide rehabilitation focused on mobility, balance, and functional independence
- Work closely with patients, carers, care home staff, and community services
- Support falls prevention, reablement, and hospital discharge planning
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with professional standards
- Supervise junior staff when appropriate
- Deliver group-based exercise sessions such as balance classes, falls prevention programmes, and seated exercise sessions
About You
- HCPC-registered Physiotherapist with significant post-registration experience (Band 6 level)
- Background in community, neurological rehabilitation, or care home physiotherapy preferred
- Excellent clinical reasoning, communication, and organisational skills
- Confident working independently with a varied caseload
- Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
