Stephen Physiotherapist

Stephen is an experienced Physiotherapist with a broad background across community rehabilitation, care homes, the NHS, private practice and elite sport.

He has extensive experience supporting older adults and people with complex health needs in their own homes and care home settings.

Stephen previously worked as a Band 7 Specialist Home Physiotherapist within NHS Adult Community Services, assessing and treating people with complex presentations and multiple health conditions and helping them to remain as independent as possible within their own homes.

His community experience includes working with frail and elderly patients, people living with long-term conditions and those recovering following illness or a change in mobility.
Alongside his community work, Stephen has a strong background in musculoskeletal physiotherapy. He has a particular interest in shoulder, knee and lower back conditions and uses evidence-based assessment and personalised rehabilitation to help people reduce pain, improve movement and regain confidence with everyday activities.

Stephen has also worked within elite sport, including several years as a Physiotherapist with Manchester City Football Club. This varied experience enables him to bring a strong understanding of movement, rehabilitation and progressive exercise to every patient, adapting his approach to the individual and what matters most to them.

Stephen’s friendly, practical and goal-focused approach fits closely with the Rebalance ethos of helping people move better, build confidence and maintain as much independence as possible.
