We are delighted to announce that Rebalance Physiotherapy has been selected as a finalist in the UK StartUp Awards 2026.
The awards attracted more than 2,000 entries from businesses across the UK and celebrate entrepreneurs and organisations that have successfully transformed innovative ideas into thriving businesses. Being recognised among the North West’s leading start-ups is a significant milestone for our team and reflects the progress we have made since launching in October 2025.
Founded by Specialist Neurological and Elderly Rehabilitation Physiotherapist Caroline Farrow, Rebalance Physiotherapy was established with a clear vision: to provide high-quality, compassionate physiotherapy and rehabilitation services directly in people’s homes and care home settings.
Since launching, we have experienced rapid growth. What started as a single-practitioner service has expanded into a dedicated team of four experienced physiotherapists, each bringing specialist expertise in neurological rehabilitation, musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy and elderly rehabilitation.
We have also developed strong partnerships with care providers across Cheshire and Greater Manchester and now deliver regular physiotherapy services within several care homes, including Cheadle Manor, Bramhall Manor, Ashlands, Upland Manor, Cheadle Grange and Fernlea.
Meeting a Growing Need
The growth we have experienced over the past year demonstrates the increasing demand for specialist home visit physiotherapy and rehabilitation services.
We are particularly passionate about improving access to high-quality physiotherapy within care home settings. By delivering on-site specialist support, we help residents maintain mobility, reduce the risk of falls, improve confidence and enjoy a better quality of life.
As we continue to expand across the North West, we remain committed to strengthening our care home rehabilitation services and ensuring more people can benefit from expert physiotherapy support when and where they need it most.

Looking Ahead
We are excited to attend the UK StartUp Awards 2026 regional final in June, where we will find out whether we have been selected as a regional winner and progress to the national final in September.
